Exciting News: Representing Tails of the World in Tampa!
I’m beyond thrilled to share some exciting news with you all—I’ve been selected to represent Tails of the World for the Tampa area! This is a huge honor and I’m absolutely ecstatic to be a part of this incredible project, showcasing our beautiful community through the lens of photography and animal rescue.
For those who may not be familiar with Tails of the World, it's a beautiful book project that brings together talented photographers from all over the globe to document the stories of beloved dogs. Each edition showcases many different regions, and this year, I’ll be working to showcase the heartwarming stories of Tampa’s local (rescue) pets in the 2025 edition of the book.
Choosing the Rescue: A Meaningful Partnership
One of the most exciting parts of this adventure is that I get to pick the rescue organization I’ll be working with! Over the next few weeks, I’ll be researching local Tampa rescues to find the perfect match. My goal is to work with a rescue that shares my passion for animal welfare and is committed to giving these wonderful pets a second chance at life. Once I’ve chosen the rescue, I’ll be diving into the heart of this project, capturing the beauty of these animals and their unique stories.
Model Calls: Showcasing Tampa’s Beautiful Area
After selecting the rescue, the next step will be the model calls. I’ll be looking for beautiful pets to photograph for the book. This is an incredible opportunity to highlight the amazing animals in our area and show off the beauty of Tampa through their eyes. From our stunning beaches and vibrant downtown to the lush parks and hidden gems around the city, I can’t wait to bring these animals and their personalities to life in such a meaningful way.
The 2025 edition of Tails of the World will be a stunning celebration of dogs, and I’m so excited to see how our local Tampa community can shine through this project. Our pets have incredible stories to tell, and I can’t wait to be the one to share them with the world.
